To maintain a high-quality marketplace, all sellers on emanualonline.com must meet our eligibility standards and agree to our publishing guidelines. These requirements ensure that customers receive accurate, reliable manuals and that all supplier listings are consistent across the platform.
Who can become a seller?
You may be eligible to sell on our marketplace if you are:
A manual publisher or documentation provider
A technical data company or content distributor
An independent specialist with the rights to publish your material
A digitisation partner offering restored or legacy manuals
A workshop or technician producing your own documentation
If you are unsure whether you qualify, you are welcome to apply and our onboarding team will review your details.
Minimum requirements to sell on our marketplace
1. You must have the right to distribute the manuals you upload
All sellers must hold the appropriate copyright, licensing rights, or distribution permissions for the content they provide. Unauthorised or unlicensed material is strictly prohibited.
2. Manuals must meet our quality standards
Every manual must:
Be clear and readable
Include complete coverage as described in the listing
Contain accurate model, year and engine information
Include wiring diagrams and technical illustrations where applicable
Be free from watermarks that obscure information
Our team will review sample files during onboarding to ensure compliance.
3. File formats must be supported by the platform
We accept common formats, including:
PDF
ZIP
OVA (virtualised environments)
Supplementary image or diagram files
If you use a non-standard format, inform our onboarding team during setup.
4. Sellers must provide accurate product information
Listings must clearly state:
Model coverage
Year range
Engine codes
Region variants (if applicable)
Version or revision details
Accurate descriptions reduce customer issues and improve your seller rating.
5. You must be able to provide timely support
If a customer reports a coverage issue or requests clarification, sellers are expected to respond promptly to our support team so the correct manual can be provided.
Verification and approval
Once you register through the Seller Dashboard, our team will:
Review your business details
Confirm distribution rights
Assess sample manuals
Approve your seller account and provide access to the upload tools
Only approved sellers will be able to list manuals on the marketplace.
